The journal, IST Transactions of Applied Mathematics-Modeling and Simulation, provides a forum for original, high-quality papers dealing with any aspect of applied mathematics, systems mathematical modeling and simulation. The journal aims at being a reference and a powerful tool to all those professionally active and/or interested in the methods and applications of simulation. It covers theoretical aspects of simulation and modeling, methodology and application of modeling and simulation in any area, including engineering, economics, management, living systems, biomedical engineering, ecology and environment, education, transaction handling; methods and algorithms for design, validation, verification, approximation and solution methods; simulation languages and environments including those, specific to distributed computing, high performance computers or computer networks, computer simulations of physical processes, Monte Carlo methods, discrete and continuous simulation, tools for high performance computing simulation, including dedicated architectures and parallel computing. It also covers Dynamic Modeling, Physically-based Modeling, Statistical Modeling, Agent-based Modeling 3-Dimensional Modeling Numerical Methods, Finite Element Methods, Computational Geometry, system approximation, Identification Estimation. Mathematical modeling of engineering and environmental processes, manufacturing, and industrial systems, discrete applied mathematics, statistics, mathematical biology, dynamical systems, algorithms, experimental mathematics, and theoretical computer science. |
